  1. Thanks for the memories Maurice. I was born in the Lost Nation. My grandfather came from Wales and settled there. My Dad was actually questioned for the Bissonette murder. We lived in that house when I was a little girl. And my brother sister and I used to re enact the murder.

  2. Wonderful storytelling, beautiful music, great stories. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

  3. Maurice thank you I enjoyed this so much. This was well done. One statement sticks with me. β€œLost Nation became lost.”
We should never forget the history that went with the land. .It should never be lost. Loved this.

  4. Wow! this is wonderful. My husband comes for the Townships and I now call Knowlton my home. I was very happy to take the time to look at this historical video. You are a great story teller. I think I detect Sarah singing. Thank you.

  5. Good morning, we finally had the opportunity to view your wonderfully narrated short story about Lost Nation. In 1974 my then boyfriend and still husband and I rented our first home together, a little house on Uplands road. Our neighbour across the road was a Mrs. Martin and I spent quite a bit of time with her in the evening as my husband went to night school. She was a very elderly lady who had been there all her life and she told me that the little house we lived in, which is still there (small house 2nd on the right from corner of Fuller and Stagecoach, 2 large pines) was the old schoolhouse??? She was alone and lived mostly in her big kitchen where she had the biggest and most beautiful wood cook stove. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. We drive by the old house about 1/year. I also know a woman who was born and raised there.
