Maurice J. O. Crossfield is an author, amateur historian and recovering journalist in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. To support his writing habit Maurice worked as a reporter for the Sherbrooke Record for nearly 15 years, has sat in the big chair at Harrowsmith, and then moved on to a varied work life that has included mechanics, logging, organic gardening and truck driving. He lives with his wife, musician Sarah Biggs in bucolic West Brome.
